Located in the heart of historic Chichester, West Sussex, Casa Fina is a shop with a distinctly continental flavour. The owners Tim and Janet Tuckett import many of their unique items directly from Italian workshops in Florence and Venice. The shop specialises in fine ceramics, mirrors, pictures, painted furniture, rugs, bedspreads and unusual gift items.

The Italian mirrors and trays are made in the time honoured tradition of Florentine craftsmen. The gold or silver leaf is applied by hand and much of the decoration from this area exhibits a typical Moorish influence. Each area has its own unique style and each artisan has his or her own trademark pattern.

Also from Italy the ceramics gift range includes vases, wall plaques, dishes, bowls, candleholders and many other decorative items. The ceramic lamp bases are sourced from Northern Italy and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. From the UK there is a select range of Rye pottery and hand signed animal figurines by Miranda Smith.

The painted furniture range at Casa Fina comprises a selection of styles and colours in a variety of materials. The hardwood range, which is made from renewable resources, is available in a selection of creams and opal white. In painted pine there is a large choice of colours from ivory through to duck egg blue and cappuccino. Other ranges of furniture include white or cream rattan and many individual items of wirework for both home and garden. The style of Casa Fina furniture is continental with a modern twist and will sit well in both traditional and more minimalist homes.

Home accessories include smaller items such as towel rails, hooks, picture frames and unusual ornaments such as life-size wire mannequins, all finished in the shabby chic distressed cream to complement the continental look.

In the bedspread range, classic roses combined with elegant toiles in a variety of colours complement the antiqued french look of the distressed furniture. All bedspreads have a 100% cotton interlining and are washable. Casa Fina also offers plain silk cushions in over 25 colours.

To complete that continental look Casa Fina has a large choice of pictures with an Italian theme, from scenic views of Florence to elegant florals. These are all supplied by a UK company who have a local studio of artists in the Isle of Wight.

Casa Fina also stocks the original Spanish Casa Pupo rugs which are hand woven in 100% wool and can be made to order from a large colour palette of over 30 colours.
